How to Add and Remove Whitelisting Feature

Whitelist Feature Explained

The Whitelist feature enables project owners to provide a list of select wallet addresses that can participate in a presale. Any wallet address not on the Whitelist will be unable to contribute during a live sale. This is a great measure to prevent bot attacks and ensure only legitimate investors can contribute to a presale.
Project owners have the option to enable/disable this feature when creating a Launchpad and up until the start of a Presale.

Enable Whitelist Function

During the ‘Create a Presale' process, you will have the option to activate the Whitelist function. After verifying your token, you’ll be brought to the second step of entering in your presale information. Under ‘Presale Type’, you have the option to select either ‘Whitelist’ or ‘Public'.

Forgot to Enable During Launchpad Creation?

In the event you activated your Launchpad but forgot to enable the Whitelist function, don’t sweat it. You can enable the function after the fact when updating your Launchpad. Simply go to your presale and select the 'Owner' tab to enter into the Owner Zone. Under Status Type, click either 'Public' or 'Whitelist'.
Metamask will prompt you to confirm the transaction. Note that the fees charged will be gas fees that are required for any interaction with the blockchain. Click on the ‘Confirm’ button to complete the process.

How to Add Whitelist Addresses

Project owners have the ability to add wallet addresses to the Whitelist both before and during a presale.
Step 1: Go to Launchpad List and select your presale.
Step 2: On the rand hand side you will see the ‘Owner’ tab. Select it to open up the Owner Zone. Ensure that Whitelist function has been enabled. Select ‘Add Whitelists’.
Step 3: A pop up will appear with space to enter in the wallet addresses you want whitelisted. Select ‘Add Users’ when you are done inputting all of the addresses.
Addresses must be separated by a new line without a comma. We recommend you do not add more than 200 addresses at a time to avoid input errors. So, if you have 1000 addresses you’d like to Whitelist, we recommend you do 5 separate batches.
Metamask will prompt you to confirm the transaction. Note that the fees charged will be gas fees that are required for any interaction with the blockchain. Click on the ‘Confirm’ button to complete the process.

How to Remove Whitelist Addresses

Project owners have the ability to remove wallet addresses from the Whitelist both before and during a presale.
Step 1: Go to Presale Page.

Step 2: On the right hand side you will see the ‘Owner’ tab. Select it to open up the Owner Zone. Now select ‘Remove Whitelists’.
Step 3: A pop up will appear with space to remove the wallet addresses you do not want to be whitelisted. Simply delete the addresses you want removed and ensure the proper formatting is used. Select ‘Remove Users’ when you are finished.
Do not replace addresses in the ‘Remove addresses from the Whitelist’ page. You will have to remove unwanted addresses, confirm the transaction, and following the steps on adding addresses to add new ones back.
Metamask will prompt you to confirm the transaction. Note that the fees charged will be gas fees that are required for any interaction with the blockchain. Click on the ‘Confirm’ button to complete the process.

Disable Whitelist Function

During the ‘Create a Launchpad’ process, you will have the option to activate the Whitelist function or make the presale available to the Public. When at the ‘DeFi Launchpad Info’ page, select ‘Public’ under the ‘Type’ heading.

Enabled Whitelist During Launchpad Creation?

In the event you enabled the Whitelist function when creating your Launchpad but want to make it public, simply go back to the ‘Owner Zone’ and select ‘Disable Whitelist’.
Metamask will prompt you to confirm the transaction. Note that the fees charged will be gas fees that are required for any interaction with the blockchain. Click on the ‘Confirm’ button to complete the process.

Disable Whitelist During Presale

In the event you have the Whitelist function enabled and your Live Presale isn’t filling as quickly as you’d like, you can go to the ‘Owner Zone’ and select ‘Public’ to open up selling to the public. This can be done at any time during your Presale.
